The originally medieval Gothic church was built in the 14th century. After its demolition, the High Baroque dean's church of St. Mary Magdalene by the prominent Czech architect Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhofer was opened in 1736. The unique burial crypt of the original Gothic church, which contains skeletal remains from the closed cemetery, is worthy of attention in the underground of the church.
